Qual o problema de falar que não vamos fazer NADA nas férias?

Outro dia, fiz um post no Facebook, em que eu confessava a minha tristeza ao perceber algumas pessoas do meu entorno dizendo que iam “aproveitar as férias para trabalhar com calma”. E dizia que fico ainda mais triste quando a pessoa me conta isso em tom de “reclamação”, mas – na realidade – está celebrando o que seria um símbolo de status: ter uma agenda disputadíssima e cheia de compromissos (de trabalho, claro!).
Você consegue se desconectar do trabalho nas férias e se (re)conectar? Você aproveita seus momentos de pausa no trabalho para conectar com você mesmo(a) e com seus amores, amigos e familiares e pessoas queridas?
O tema do tempo “livre” é um ótimo gancho para pensarmos na nossa relação com o tempo. Passamos muito tempo do nosso dia-a-dia reclamando que não temos tempo para nada, porque corremos demais; e quando temos tempo, dedicamos este tempo para ‘trabalhar com calma’? Qual o problema de falar que não vamos fazer NADA? E qual o problema de usar o tempo para se divertir?
Parece que vivemos uma espécie de doença produtivista, que nos proíbe de sermos senhores e senhoras do nosso tempo. A velocidade, a pressa e a ultraocupação são a normose da contemporaneidade. E quem foge a esta lógica é uma espécie de intruso (que muitas vezes incomoda os que correm ao mostrar que a vida pode ser mais lenta e mais conectada com o que faz sentido pra cada um).
Claro que reconhecemos a multiplicidade de fatores que nos levam a correr. Claro que sabemos que muitas pessoas (na conjuntura em que vivemos hoje) não tem nem direito a férias e a momentos de pausa e precisam se desdobrar em muitas para conseguir poucos instantes de descanso. Claro que sabemos que para algumas pessoas isso nem é possível. Claro que sabemos de tudo isso. E sabemos também que precisamos lutar como sociedade para mudar este quadro mais geral, coletivo.
Sabemos que as tecnologias são um dos fatores que contribuem fortemente para que não nos desconectemos do trabalho quando estamos em momentos de pausa. Especialmente, os celulares, nos “roubam” preciosos momentos em que poderíamos estar presentes; e nos vemos dividindo a atenção entre quem está ali diante de nós e a tela.
A provocação que nós, do Desacelera SP, fazemos é: esta escolha é consciente? Você de fato escolhe estar ali e alhures ao mesmo tempo? Você escolhe, de forma consciente, dividir a sua atenção entre pessoas e a tela? Ou aquele aparelhinho mágico te seduz e você se entrega aos apelos dele sem muito pensar e tem sempre a sensação de que não está nem ali, nem agora, nem distante, nem fazendo nada direito?
Nosso ponto é: você é dono do seu tempo? Ou é refém de uma correria que vai te levando e quando você percebe já foi? O quanto o uso (às vezes excessivo) de dispositivos tecnológicos tem de responsabilidade sobre esta sensação de pressa permanente? É possível acessar tecnologias de uma forma mais equilibrada e ter um tempo de convivência presencial-física de qualidade (sem telas)? É possível usar as tecnologias de uma forma mais humana? É possível construir afeto e presença em relações mediadas pelas tecnologias (e sem presença física)?
